Goals and Objectives 2007-2008

1. Have Fun!
(a) Fight member burn-out
(b) Build positive attitudes

2. Improve service to the community:
(a) Re-evaluate list of past service projects
(b) Develop new service projects that appeal to young adults

3. Increase membership:
(a) Re-examine how we approach recruitment
(b) Increase our recruitment efforts
(c) Reach out to young adult community
(d) Reach out to parents of Junior Civitans
(e) Increase club membership by 20%. That equals 6 new members
(f) Maintain current membership with more involvement

4. Improve our finances:
(a) Continue to build reserve for fruitcake expenses
(b) Increase fruitcake, candy box sales, and flag
project revenues by 20%. That equals about $1400.00 over last year
(c) Improve Yard Sales Programs. Maintain sales profit from last year

5. Improve our Junior Civitan Programs
(a) More and better contacts with Juniors
(b) Revitalize Rawlinson Road Middle School Club
(c) Have more Juniors attend JCLC

6. Meet and exceed Civitan’s expectations for District and International Awards
